In The Temple Of The Rabbit
Joey wanted a ride on Monster!Glitch’s back so he got out the eucalyptus-leaves-on-a-stick
Finished foaming and started making the fur pattern on 10/25/12. The nose is technically already done, just not sewn on. There are a few mistakes, which is why I went back over it in black marker, but hey it’s my first attempt at patterning. I think I’ll be tracing it onto poster board before I cut the fur so that the masking tape doesn’t curl after it’s cut. At this rate I won’t be finished by Halloween, but I’ll still try!
I’ve seriously had this set of prismas for about five years now and this is the first I’ve ever used them. I should pick up a pack of grey tones and a blender too. Never having used markers, I like them a lot.
I did that tutorial that has been going around where you draw a shrimp from memory and then draw another after studying what they really look like and using references. What a big difference! Shrimp are weird.
I was accepted to Millersville today. Beyond that it’s probably better not to ask.
I got a new sketchbook with the intention of drawing bigger and more often. I decided I wanted to work at a little anatomy of my character (especially the weird double thumbed koala-hands). It’s still not great considering that this is the first I’ve drawn in a long time, but it’s a start.
